Existing system responsibilities
Separate device control from account records, configuration and other application services. Identify which parts can change without requiring a complete application replacement.
Device integration
Integrate device firmware, electrical connections and application controls while preserving the services and interfaces that must remain compatible.
Hardware and application integration
Adding hardware to an existing machine or application requires an inventory of its interfaces and responsibilities. AUBRIX can develop the device firmware and control path within those constraints, including control release and interrupted sessions. Existing services can remain in place where they are outside the integration assignment.
Separate device control from account records, configuration and other application services. Identify which parts can change without requiring a complete application replacement.
Review voltage levels, connectors, protocols and message structures together. Component and module choices need compatible electrical characteristics, firmware support and an explicit substitution-approval process.
Specify responses to press, hold, release, repeated messages and lost connections. Define timeouts and stop commands for the actual device and intended use.
Engineering process
Identify devices, interfaces, services and physical outputs. Document what can be modified and what must remain compatible.
Define message fields, state transitions and responses, including invalid or stale input and reconnection.
Develop the agreed path from application input to device action. Document configuration and interface assumptions so both ends can be reviewed.
Test normal use and relevant interruption cases. Where hardware is available within the assignment, check physical response alongside the messages exchanged.
Depending on the agreed scope
Test coverage depends on access to the systems and hardware. A functioning command path does not establish every surrounding feature or provide a measured latency guarantee.
Project experience
Connected-device integration
Claw-machine control uses MQTT and WebSocket while retaining Firebase services. Physical control checks are documented; camera integration remains ongoing.
Project details
PCB design + embedded firmware
The CAN keypad design separates operator input from relay outputs and includes key-release handling. PCB views alone do not establish hardware validation.
