PCB layout + design review

Compact Class-D amplifier PCB

A restored car radio needs modern amplifier electronics within a fixed board outline. The design brings audio inputs, front and rear speaker connections, control signals and a vehicle supply into a 50 × 50 mm footprint.

PCB design view. Placement and routing are under review and refinement.

Engineering scope

  • Component and connector placement within a fixed outline
  • Power routing, grounding and audio interfaces
  • Component and layout review for the car-radio context

Placement within a fixed outline

Audio and speaker connectors occupy the board edges. Amplifier stages, supporting components and supply connections share the remaining 50 × 50 mm area, so connector access and component placement must be considered together.

Power distribution and signal routing

The layout review covers supply protection, local decoupling and return paths. Copper areas, routing and via placement are assessed where switched power and audio signals share the compact board.

Vehicle-supply design review

The design is being refined for a nominal 12 V vehicle supply. The available material covers layout development, not manufactured hardware, measured audio performance or automotive certification.
